Located at 1409 Shiloh Rd #200, Plano, TX 75074, Madina Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Plano in Texas. Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Madina Market at (469) 626-3657; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, madinamarket.org.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 758 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Plano.

Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The place feels a bit run down. They need a renovation. Their veggies and fruits don't look as fresh compared to other Desi grocery stores in the area. I picked up young coconut from here and upon going home (2 hrs later) my toddler drank it and immediately spit it out. It was spoiled. I told the store this next time I was there and they said they would investigate. How are you going to investigate it? It's already in the trash in my house. I told them I don't care about a refund for a $2.49 item but do want them to be aware and sell inspired items and practice good hygiene. Their response felt like they didn't really care. It was nonchalant. They also have a hot kitchen that sells shawarmas and kebabs. The shawarmas are actually good but it's a hit or miss. One day it's good so you go back and next time it's avg. it's because they only have one person in the hot kitchen and when that person is rushed they forget to include everything in the shawarma like the onions.

Good store for South Indian grocery. Have decent halal meat section as well. You can also get beef / chicken shawarma here around 8$ which is pretty good price for it. Plus they have other fast middle eastern food options. Don’t expect a large selection of grocery but it’s enough for everything you need. Folks are nice too

Really good halal market. Inside is clean and the market isn't too expensive. There is butcher and a mini restaurant with foods such as shawarmas, gyro, kebabs, and arab style whole chicken. The food is very delicious and also not too expensive. They have an extended part in which you can find rice, flour, and lentils. In that same area you can find islamic decorations, hijabs, candles, kitchen utensils, and even some Arabic perfume. Overall a really nice market and highly recommend.
